Ok. while I expected to have some free time to spare, real life has changed and now it agenda has become kinda devoid of free time for the next couple of months. As a result, I have to put this project on hold before it even started (sorry about that).

However, I still would like to tackle this project when free time becomes available once more. My intentions where to build my own hex-grid engine in HTML5/Javascript/Canvas. I've some experience with tile engines (square tiles) so I figured I should be able to program this from scratch. It is no problem to make this completely turn based, where the game waits for everybody to take their turn before the results are played out and the next turn is made available. Once the hex-engine is up and running, a rules engine should not be overly difficult to implement.

But for now, I'll just collect some resources when I've some time to spare and try to give it a go in when more free time becomes available again.

Cheers,
refund

Indeed. No rush, life happens... but you've got some ready and willing critical eyes and able hands to test it out and give feedback when you've got something up and running!

Starting end of December I'd be willing to help garuntee at least one person being around on a Saturday or something 8-)

Going to "try" to get either a PC or boardgame, etc. something going at least every week.

Cute video, but I am not really sure I understand what I was seeing or how it applies to Crimson Skies. It is obviously a game engine of sorts, but without any sort of CS module I can't bring myself to pay $15 for it. Someone with programing smarts might be able to do something with it I suppose. . .

Just suggesting it, it allows for a lot of modding to be done to it via Steam Workshop. There are no FASA styled games on yet, but I'll be watching it ;)

The Tabletop Simulator reminds me of the holographic "chess" game that Chewie and R2D2 played on the Millenium Falcon, remember? "Let the Wookie win"

Merry Christmas everyone!
