I have but I did not upload them as I was not sure about Copyright for them.
While yes, they are in the books, they aren't in the public domain for reproduction. [example, they were not included on any official CS websites]
If you like I can send you the images that I have scanned but for the most part I have not edited them or cleaned them up. [pm me your email]
I was looking at doing that later for my own personal use.

**note**
Then again I could be wrong, if so I will post them

I'm not sure how FASA used them, a couple are straight-off uses of historical art.

Ones I know of:
Manhatten Mistress, an Elvgren piece.
The one in the end of Behind the Crimson Veil.
The ones in the front and back of the actual gamebox manuals is also often-seen stuff, however the name or artist escape me at the moment.

I doubt?? That FASA would have paid whoever owned the rights to use them in the books. Personally I think (Just a guess), that the pieces cannot be really copyrighted well. There are dozens of pinup websites with many pictures, and I think for the most part, it's seen as advertising for actual prints...

Target of Opportunity, Surprise Attack! and Miss Fortune are all modified Elvgren works as well. The others in the core rulebooks don't look like his style though.

On the MSGames server most of the clans and individual players there had custom nose art. There were instructions on how to insert it into the PC game. No reason that the same art couldn't be used in the tabletop game!

There used to be instructions on the Zone, but for the life of me now I cannot find it, neither does a net search produce anything usable. But yes, back in the day, the various clans in the Zone all had their own custom nose art.

A few years ago I emailed Andreas Harrison, the guy who ran the Chronicles of the Arixo Air Defense Force website, about the decals he used on his aircraft models. He told me he used special decal paper and printed the roundels and insignia directly from his computer.

If you're looking for noseart, Il-2 comes with a large variety of noseart for American planes. I could try to find a way to send them to you if you want.

Would it be worth compiling some kind of general collection of decals for use with Crimson Skies? Nose art, squadron insignia, national flags etc.
