From what I hear - people are still showing up on Sundays online at http://www.reverbgaming.com

It's kinda like how the Microsoft Zone and Gamespy Arcade were. I've got it installed, but haven't played there yet. I've been playing IP games with my son and friends online. We'll normally post on our facebook page when we're going to be online and what the IP address is. - but i think this will be a great thing to check out soon!

Regarding hud, the instruments are at the sides of the screen.

I personally prefer cockpit view for better realism.

I'm not entirely sure - but I think it has something to do with either the graphics settings you're using or the amount of RAM available. Back in 2000 when I first used the game on my old laptop with a whopping 250Mhz AMD processor and 4 Gig's of Hard-drive space & 64 MB or RAM, my laptop would only display numbers instead of the gauges.

Just like this pic...
