Damage to Central Elevators

Postby croak » Thu May 03, 2012 10:18 am

Hello all - a group of us have just started playing Crimson Skies again after a long hiatus, and we had some rules queries. I think we've worked out most of them, but I wasn't sure about damage to elevators in the tail - do both sides get a -1 G penalty?

I'm assuming you're talking about pusher planes, since tractors have two different elevator control boxes, one for each side. For pushers, I'm not sure. Technically, there's only one elevator box for both sides, so it feels like both sides should lose 1 G when it takes a hit. On the other hand, that seems a bit steep. The issue hasn't come up yet in my games, but what I'd recommend is that you divide the elevator box in half down the middle, one for each side.

Ugh all done now, I hate removing spam posts, so very tedious, not to mention time consuming.
And that one decided to go for broke and infect as many posts as it could, took a while to remove them all.
