I guess I should have put my question about the silk shooters on here?

Any way, Does anybody know what those net like structurs just aft of the nose and just fowd of the control surfaces are on the Pandora in the PC game? They do not appear on the pix in the Atlas world news and air action weekly pix, neither do they appear in the X-Box game HRTR. :?:

Just incase anyone doesn't know what I mean, there used top be a website www.crimsonskies-universe.com. , it had LOTS of sc information on it. Lots of pix, personalities bios, militia formations, etc. AAW and AWN were "Newspapers from the CS universe.

It can be found archived at http://firedrake.org/roger/csarchive/

You mean the sorta spider-webby things? (lol......man I am slipping).

I think they were called "anti-strafing spikes" or somewhat. It was mentioned in one of the novels.

Basically it was to prevent a fighter from ultra-close hugging a zeppelin without getting hung up.

is that the one that includes the Louisiana chapter?

The previous 2 chapters in it.

"Phantom prototype" and "Manchurian Gambit" where both from the old FASA site, and still can be read on the web.archive.

P.S. How many chapters are in the book parriah? Sounds great! and I can't wait to see it translated!

At 2 or 3 specific archive dates, you can actually download the book they had provided for it.

That is front & back cover,etc,.etc. Which I assume wasn't included in the Xbox version.

No they weren't, but as any repectable CS fanatic knows it is always good to have the actual thing in your hands.
I have the pdf's from the archive and now I have the actual book.
Waiting on the two Spicy Air Tales books that I have on order as well as a copy of Rogue Flyer, hope to get them soon.
Also been seeing a copy of Pirate's Gold and Crimson Skies preview #1 online lately, hope to get them soon too.

Yeah, the anti-strafing lines seems to be correct. Althoguh in the PC game they aren't too effective - I've found myself more likely to hit them and go spinning off in another direction rather than get hurt!
