Going pretty well recently. Just been busy with school.

I did manage to design the Endeavour-class "fast-response search and rescue" zeppelin, by which I mean shadily constructed fast-strike and insertion craft, in the mean time, though. I still need to cut its background and design history into something that's not bullet points, though, as well as draw up some images of it.

Nah -- that was just the "Y" run of prototypes.

That is awesome . . . analogue photo editing from the 30's, that is just too cool.
Sorry Jerba, that is a great find but you know me, I can't resist pulling things apart.
The picture is made up of three parts from what I can identify
* the top right is one layer [almost square-ish]
* the cloudy background with some airbrushed clouds to hide the seams
* the car, lady, tree, pole & hill, all one photo
I originally thought the zeppelin was superimposed but after I worked my magic, the other layers became obvious.
Makes sense if you think about it, the effort to co-ordinate a zeppelin flyover, with the camera, car and zeppelin all correctly aligned and with the same light level . . . almost impossible to do.
Still, I think that it is awesome the way the pulled it off.

That is really interesting! Being a graphic designer and photo editor back then was much more hands on I suppose! Scissors and tape and lots of extra film perhaps? :)

I couldn't resist showing it here. And, yes, that car is gorgeous. Anybody got an extra they could lend me?
